"Yanjaa (Yanjinlkham) Munkhbat is a self-taught graphic designer turned founder. She started her career at the Best Western Premier Tuushin Hotel in Ulaanbaatar, got hired straight from Mongolia to the US, and built a career as a Design Specialist at the United Nations (OCHA) all on raw skill and conviction. She holds a Bachelor's in Computer Science and a Master's in Design Management, but it was the years of teaching herself design that shaped how she thinks and builds today. Now she's the co-founder and product lead of Vesta, a platform turning stone-age paper processes into modern tech for nonprofits like VITA sites and KEEP — helping them double their client capacity without adding resources. The long-term roadmap is to make Vesta fully AI-powered, but the mission stays the same: making a real difference in immigrant communities. She is a Blue Ridge Labs founder alumni (Robin Hood Foundation), selected for Village Capital's Women in Tech program, and named to Visible Hand's Seen 50 impact founder. Yanjaa is also a president of the MNG Summit, committed to building and giving back to the Mongolian community. She builds for the people the system wasn't designed for, because she was one of them.
