Career Synthesis & Impact Narrative
My name is Tamir, and international relations has taken me across borders and industries, from the lecture halls of Moscow to solo-traveling through 11 countries by the age of 19. Those early global experiences became the foundation for everything I am doing now.
They taught me to view the world through a lens of diverse cultures and perspectives, but more importantly, they sparked a realization: that accumulated ideas must be translated into action where it matters most. I built my foundation with a degree in International Relations and Energy Policy from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO).
From there, I sharpened my skills across business development, project management, and translation, collaborating with international tech companies, NGOs, and academic institutions to bridge complex ideas with practical execution. I brought this international mindset back to Mongolia at a pivotal time, stepping into the role of Senior Expert at the COP-17 Preparatory Office.
In this capacity, I focus on policy development, planning, and resource mobilization for the upcoming UNCCD COP-17, which stands as a critical global milestone for our nation. Mongolia's path toward sustainable and prosperous growth is still evolving.
But that’s precisely where the opportunity lies, to leverage strategic international cooperation to build a resilient, forward-looking foundation for our home country.
