Norovsambuu Purevsuren is a policy advisor and energy market specialist with international experience in Japan and Mongolia. He studied Transdisciplinary Science and Engineering at Tokyo Institute of Technology, one of Japan’s leading engineering universities and consistently ranked among the world’s top universities.
He later completed his master’s degree at the same institution in Global Development, Environment and Society, focusing on the intersection of technology, development policy, and sustainability. Professionally, he worked in Japan’s liberalized electricity market, specializing in risk analysis, tariff design, and AI-based energy modeling to support strategic decision-making in energy trading and retail markets.
He has also worked as a consultant in Mongolia on electricity market reform, contributing to policy design and legislative amendments. He currently serves as an advisor to Member of Parliament G.
Luvsanjamts and as Secretary of the Policy Committee on Infrastructure and Development Projects, where he works on developing a national framework to evaluate and prioritize major development projects in Mongolia.
