Career Synthesis & Impact Narrative

My name is Batkhishig, and I am commonly known as Allie. After earning my bachelor’s degree from National University of Mongolia, I began my career as a Financial Controlling Officer before moving to Australia to pursue a Master’s degree in Banking and Finance (FinTech) at Macquarie University.

During my studies, I co-founded the Mongolian Students’ Association, creating a platform for students to share knowledge and opportunities. I was actively engaged in academic life—tutoring students, representing the Finance Department, and contributing ideas to improve course delivery.

Alongside my studies, I built my career in the property and mortgage sector, becoming one of the first Mongolian-speaking mortgage brokers in the market. I later founded SCG Finance Mongolia, providing tailored mortgage and property solutions for temporary visa holders through consultations and seminars.

I transitioned into corporate finance with Equifax as a Financial Viability Analyst, before relocating to Perth and joining Paxon Group in Perth, where I worked as a consultant at the intersection of infrastructure delivery and financial innovation. In this role, I contributed to complex government PPPs and commercial transactions, supporting advisory work across strategic, financial, and project structuring aspects.

While I had built a stable career and lifestyle abroad, living overseas deepened my appreciation for Mongolia—its natural richness, cultural identity, and resilient spirit. This perspective led me to make the deliberate decision to return home and contribute to its future.

I am currently co-founding www.Werun.mn, a platform promoting healthier lifestyles by helping people build sustainable running habits. We are launching officially on May 2, with weekly community runs held every Saturday at 8 a.m.

in the National Park in Ulaanbaatar. In parallel, I am developing initiatives to expand global career opportunities for Mongolians, including English communication and soft skills training, as well as establishing a finance training centre based on Australian best practices.
